A 60-year-old man has been released on bail after a child died from a firearm injury on a Cumbrian farm.
The man was initially arrested following the death of an eight-year-old boy on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter.Cumbria Police are continuing their investigations into the incident.
The incident happened on land not far from the A66, north of Warcop, on Saturday, September 28.
Officers are encouraging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or the moments leading up to it to come forward.
