
A man has appeared in court after police carried out a drugs raid in Penrith.
Eden Neighbourhood Policing officers carried out the raid at a property on Wednesday.
The address was searched, and class B drugs and cash were seized.
Aron Underwood, 49, of Crocus Avenue, Penrith was arrested and later charged with possession with intent to supply a class B drug.
He appeared before Carlisle Magistrates Court yesterday, Thursday May 15, and is next due to appear before Carlisle Crown court on June 16.
Sergeant Maddi Bennet, of Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to target those that cause the most harm in our communities by acting upon community intelligence.
