Lakes Estates is celebrating business growth and a move to bigger, brighter offices in Penrith.
After a successful first 12 months, the state agency has seen a year-on-year doubling of sales and is now looking forward to welcoming clients to its new, modern premises.
It launched two years ago in the town’s Devonshire Arcade but is now based at Little Dockray in the heart of the town.
Director Glenn Howard said: “We set up the company two years ago with the vision of offering high levels of service.
“The whole business ethos is about giving people that one to one personal client care, going above and beyond the market, helping people’s properties to really stand out. We also wanted to bridge the gap between an affordable solution for people and the high quality service we offer.”
The smart new venue offers a larger shop window to showcase properties as well as more private meeting space for customers.
“The office now matches the vision that we have for the company,” said Glenn. “The impression of the business is the quality of our showcasing of properties and the new premises offer that. Now people can come in and see how we showcase houses.
“I suppose the driving force of moving to this office is that we wanted more visibility — a better space where people can come in and see us and feel comfortable and chat through their needs.”
The company started with a three-person team and has now expanded to have seven people on board.
Co-director Rob Anderson said: “The move reflects where we have driven the brand to in two years. The market has been challenging but the business has accelerated and the amount of people that know about us now through word of mouth is vast.
“For me, an important thing is it’s about being transparent and visible. We are here and visible and for anyone who ever wants to speak to us about anything related to their property, I feel that we are in a better place to serve customers now.
“We want people to know where they can find us. What we have found is that clients like to meet us and they like us to have that shop window. It’s the right time to move and it also gives people the confidence that we are going in the right direction.”
The business is now aiming for further sustainable growth and has plans to increase the range of its services.
