Music festival Kendal Calling has sold out with a week to go.
The event, from August 1 to August 4, takes place at Lowther Deer Park, near Penrith.
It is the 19th consecutive year it has sold out.
Headliners are Paolo Nutini, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Streets, Paul Heaton with Rianne Downey, and Keane.
The line-up also includes Sugababes, Declan McKenna and The Reytons, comedians Russell Howard, Paul Smith and more plus footballer Gary Neville, who prepares to swap out his ball skills for his deck skills, as he goes B2B with Tim Burgess.
Andy Smith, founder of Kendal Calling said: “Although we’ve sold out each year since 2006, we never rest on our laurels and it’s always a wonderfully fulfilling moment when that final ticket is snapped up.
“We are lucky to have a fantastically loyal community of Kendal Calling festival goers – many who return each year, others who are yet to discover the magic that’s set to unfold.
“So thank you one and all, we are very excited to welcome you through the gates of our home at Lowther Deer Park in less than one week.”
