A carnival atmosphere pervaded Penrith at the weekend as the Winter Droving came to town.
A fire breathing dragon, ferris wheel, wall of death, stalls, live music and street performers were part of the fun – and the rain did not keep people away.
The sun came out on Saturday afternoon and it stayed crisp all evening for the event, which was taking place over three days for the first time in its history.
