A lorry driver has been fined £200 for using a mobile phone while driving on the A66 near Appleby.
The HGV was stopped after the lorry swerved towards a police vehicle and the driver was spotted using his mobile phone.
Eden police said: “This is dangerous and unacceptable.”
As well as the £200 fine, the driver was issued with six penalty points.
