Eden District Council has launched the Additional Restrictions Restart Grant (ARRG), aimed at helping businesses that have fallen outside of the scope of the existing Restart Grants scheme.
Businesses must apply through an application form to access this grant.
Applications are only open until midnight on Sunday June 27 and applicants will not hear the result of their application until mid-July.
The fund is focussed on Eden businesses that have been impacted by the Government’s ongoing COVID restrictions, from April 1 this year onwards.
The funding for the ARRG scheme has been provided by the Government to help support businesses that have faced severe losses due to COVID restrictions, and does not need to be paid back.

The scheme offers a one-off business grant available to non-essential retail businesses; and to hospitality, accommodation, leisure, personal care and gym or sport business premises.
Businesses must apply to access this grant.
