Firefighters were called out to tackle a small chemical leak in Alston.
Three crews attended the incident at Church Road yesterday, November 15, at 12pm.
Cumbria Fire and Rescue said: “Firefighters used one breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to contain the area. Crews were detained for about an hour and 30 minutes.”
