Dates for the next phase of gas works affecting Penrith town centre have been confirmed.
Northern Gas Networks are carrying out the roadworks, which have closed parts of the town centre for weeks.
The company says Phase 2 — which is currently taking place in Devonshire Street — will be complete on Thursday, 15th February.
Phase 3 (King Street) will begin on the same date.
“Northern Gas Networks are working to finish this section by Friday, 8th March but will be able to give a firmer estimation of completion date once they begin this section next week,” said a spokesman.
