COWEY. — Ralph. Aged 90 years (formerly of Tirril). Passed away at Oakfield Nursing Home, Forton (near Lancaster), on Friday, 3rd February, 2023, much loved husband of Eileen (deceased), cherished dad of Ian, fatherin-law of Caroline and special grandad of Alexander and Oliver, grandad-in-law of Michelle and Rachel and great-grandad to five great-grandchildren. ROC. — Peacefully, at home, on Saturday, 4th February, Anthony (Tony), of Kirkby Thore, dearly loved husband of Theresa and a much loved dad of Kerryann. Tony will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Aged 55 years. Funeral service at Eden Valley Crematorium, on Monday, 20th February, at 11am. SINKINSON. — Ian. Of Penrith. The family of Ian are saddened to announce his passing on Friday, 13th January. Ian passed away in his residence of Gambia where he spent the last 16 years with his wife Kath. Beloved son of Margaret and John, brother of Stephen, Brian, David and Linda, stepfather of Sarah, Marie and Arron. Aged 58 years. Gone too soon.

PARKINSON. — The family of the late Rhona, would like to thank everybody for the cards and kindness shown since Rhona’s passing. Many thanks to Tracy Lazonby for her sympathetic arrangements at the cremation. Thank you to former carers, Lisa, Bea and Steph for their tenderness and compassion towards Rhona. Thank you for her friends’ frequent enquiries, but especially to Heather, Margaret and Ed for their weekly visits during her illness. Heartfelt thanks to nurse Judith Graham and social worker Linda Brown, whose efforts led to Rhona being in Newlands Nursing Home, Workington, where the wonderful staff, through loving care and treatment, kept her painless and comfortable in her final days.

SINKINSON. — John, Margaret and family would like to thank everybody for thinking of their family during this difficult time, after the passing of their youngest son and brother, Ian. Thank you for the flowers and for your love and friendship. They are so touched to receive the flowers and cards that have been sent and appreciate your kindness at this sad time.

TYSON. — The family of Brian (Tike) would like to thank family and friends for the cards, flowers and messages of sympathy received during their recent sad loss.
