
Firefighters have tackled a house blaze in Penrith.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service was called to Brunswick Square at around 10.50am today, Friday March 21.
Four crews from Penrith, Shap, Lazonby and Carlisle East stations attended the incident.
Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service said: “Firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet and were in attendance for about an hour and 40 minutes.

The area around the home and neighbouring properties was cordoned off.
Police and an ambulance were also at the scene.
