Emergency services have been called out this morning due to the snow and ice.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria police said they were called shortly after 7.30am following a two-vehicle collision which involved a BMW and a Ford near Hackthorpe Hall.
The driver of the BMW was checked over by paramedics.
