A vehicle has been seized by police after its driver was found to have no road tax.
Police were called to Front Street in Alston at 12.18pm today.
A tweet from Eden Police said: “The reasons for this vehicle being in Alston today were questionable.
“Having no tax made it easy enough to seize anyway.”
