Eden Council chief executive Rose Rouse has announced she will be leaving Eden District Council at the end of the month.
Rose said: “It has been a pleasure to work in Eden and I have really enjoyed working with businesses, communities and partners across the county.
“I couldn’t be more proud of the staff at Eden District Council, who have done a fantastic job providing services and critical support to businesses and communities in Eden during the COVID-19 situation.”
Dr Virginia Taylor, leader of the council, said: “I would like to thank Rose for the work she has done leading the staff at Eden District Council.”
Rose will be taking a short period out of local government to grow her family’s business.
