Cash was taken by thieves who targeted a Kirkby Stephen hotel.
Police are investigating a burglary at the Kings Arms Hotel between 1.27am and 1.30am on May 10.
Two men entered the premises and taken cash.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw two men in the area at this time or who has CCTV or dashcam footage that would cover the area.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact police on 101 quoting log number 24 of May 10.
