Police are investigating a racially aggravated incident in Penrith on Saturday.
Two men entered the Rooster Cafe on Ullswater Road at around 1am.
They became argumentative with staff with at least one member of staff being racially abused and threatened.
They then left the premises.
One of the men is described as white, aged 30 to 35, 5ft 10in of a medium build with dark slicked back hair and a beard.
The second man is described as white, aged 55 to 65, 5ft 7in, of a medium build with short grey hair.
