Appleby firefighter John Bell is celebrating 29 years with Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service.
Appleby Fire Station said in a post on Facebook: “John has served the community and surrounding areas of Appleby for 29 years as a firefighter, and continues to do so.
“During the COVID-19 pandemic, John supported North West Ambulance Service by volunteering his blue light driving skills and testing people for COVID-19 in secondary schools.”
