The air ambulance was called to Penrith on Saturday after a person suffered a medical episode near Aldi.
The Great North Air Ambulance’s critical care team was called at around 1pm.
The team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service to assess and treat a patient and the patient was taken to hospital by road ambulance, accompanied by the Great North Air Ambulance team.
