Now is the time to show national decision makers that Newton Rigg is vitally important to the future of agriculture in Cumbria.
This historic college is an integral part of our heritage – and it will be in the national spotlight on Tuesday when MPs grill college bosses over their decision to close Newton Rigg and discuss land-based education in England.
It means we have less than a week to show the cross-party Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee, who will hear from witnesses during the one-day inquiry, what Newton Rigg means to the people of Cumbria.
Please sign the petition below, share it with your family and friends and help us Save Newton Rigg and keep farming in our future.
