The Queen was one of the buyers at the dispersal sale of a herd of Tebay Fell ponies.
The ponies, from the Bybeck Stud, based at Tebay, were sold by North West Auctions.
Two-year-old black filly Bybeck Tiffany Too was bought for Her Majesty by her head groom Terry Pendry.

Like many of the other top mares and fillies from the stud, Tiffany Too was sired by Wellbrow Lancashire Lad, her dam being Bybeck Friday Lass.
The sale was held on behalf of Colin and Heather Roberts and family, and attracted a huge amount of attention from prospective buyers across the country.
There was keen bidding from the ringside, as well as by phone and over the internet.
Another pony grabbing the headlines at the sale was the greatly admired black filly Bybeck Violet, also sired by Wellbrow Lancashire Lad.
This beautiful pony sold for 4,700gns, finding her new home with Messrs Wenman.
The next highest call of 4,000gns was for Bybeck Verity, a bay filly sired by Murthwaite Cappy Lad.
The pony and her unexpected colt foal found a new home in Harrogate with with Zoe Bradley, in Harrogate.
Bybeck Lisa, a 2010-born grey mare sired by Murthwaite Timothy, and her very striking grey colt foal Bybeck Alonso sold for 3,300gns.
