It was a day to remember for the Southern District of Cumbria YFC at the second day of the Westmorland County Show.
The Princess Royal and HRH The Countess of Wessex made a special appearance at the Cumbria YFC stand and met with Southern District chair, Jess Rogerson, Southern District vice chair, Emily Armer, Southern district president, Alan Barker, Ex-Southern District chair, William Longmire and County chair, Neil Curr.
“It was great for the YFC movement to be recognised in this way and a privilege for those members who met The Princess Royal and Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex.
“They were very interested in how Cumbria YFC had weathered the pandemic and were keen to hear our plans for the year ahead,” Jess said.
