Organisers of Dufton show have announced they are running an online event this year to help make up for the cancellation of the outdoors version of what is affectionately know as the Fellside Royal.
The online contest includes classes for industrial, horticultural and children’s exhibits, as well as cattle, sheep, horses and dogs.
Entries are to be submitted digitally through the Dufton show Facebook page or emailed to duftonshowsecretary@gmail.com. Entries close on 23rd August, and further details are available at http://duftonshow.co.uk/online-show-2020/
Show secretary Amy Titterington said: “We will — fingers crossed — be displaying the entries in Dufton village hall on what should have been show day, Saturday, 29th August.
“This of course will follow all up-to-date Covid guidelines which we will keep everyone up to date with on our Facebook page.”
