More than 135 sheep have been stolen from the Alston area in two separate incidents.
Police are appealing for information after they received a report today of 81 gimmer hoggs and 21 ewes missing from the Garrigill area.
The sheep were out taken out to the fells on April 16 and brought in at the beginning of this month.
Yesterday, police received a report of 34 missing sheep in the Garrigill area. The sheep went missing between March and July 5.
