Tributes have been paid to a 19-year-old footballer who died after a collision near Penrith.
The crash happened just before 2am on Monday on the Newbiggin road near to the B5288 junction, near the Clickham Inn.
The collision involved a black VW Polo. The driver of the vehicle, named locally as Jack Taylor from the Penrith area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jack played for Penrith AFC’s academy and reserve sides prior to his death.
