A youngster who has been detailing her life on an Eden farm will be on national TV today.
Katie, 14, who lives in Dufton, near Appleby, has been creating an audio diary for BBC Radio Cumbria and due to their popularity, will be featured on Countryfile tonight.
Her family moved to the county in 2011 and Katie helps out on the farm, including carrying out lambing.
She also has her own flock of sheep.
Her TV debut was filmed earlier this year, and includes her sheepdog Gem.
In a recent update on Mike Zeller’s breakfast show, Katie talked about how her and her mother are raising calves that were born in November.
She said: “Because we’ve bucket reared them, they’re all nice and friendly so it’s quite safe just walking in with them.”
To see Katie’s debut, watch Countryfile tonight on BBC One at 6pm.
