A broken down caravan is causing huge delays on the A66.
The caravan is blocking the westbound carriageway at Crackenthorpe, our colleagues at Cumbria Road Watch are reporting.
A tyre has come off the caravan at a narrow stretch of the road, where it is difficult for traffic to pass.
At 5pm today, Thursday, May 9, Cumbria Road Watch said traffic has begun to move.
