Drivers are urged to watch out for frogs and toads in a north Cumbrian village.
Amphibians have been spotted crossing the road in Caldbeck to get to the pond and Cumberland Council is urging people to be careful when driving through the village.
To ensure the safety of frogs, toads and newts, the council has installed toad crossing warning signs along the road.
Typically, amphibian migrations occur after dusk, particularly during February, March and April.
