A man who was killed in a collision involving a car and HGV on the M6 has been named.
John Trotter, 88, of Penrith, was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the collision that took place just south of Southwaite Services on Thursday December 7 at around 10.55pm.
Mr Trotter was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died on December 8 in hospital.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or the moments leading up to it – as well as anyone with information which may help.
