Pupils at Plumpton Primary School have an important message to share as they mark Children’s Mental Health Week this week.
Teachers have planned some activities around children’s wellbeing, with a focus on being kind.
Children in school and doing home learning will take part in the We Are Beyond festival and wear an item of clothing inside out tomorrow, to represent “being kind always as you do not know how people are feeling on the inside”.
This video shows being unkind can affect children long after unkind words are said.
Other activities planned for this week for the Plumpton School children are wellbeing Zoom games, a pet show and art therapy sessions.
