A man is due to be sentenced by a judge next month after he admitted assaulting and, during the course of several weeks, also stalking his ex-partner.
Callum Russell (21) appeared at Carlisle Crown Court on Monday when he pleaded guilty to three offences.
One of these involves the assault of a woman, causing her actual bodily harm, on 3rd March, 2023.
A second relates to him stalking the woman, between 2nd and 24th March, this year.
And a third offence concerns Russell damaging a mobile phone belonging to the victim on 3rd March.
In the wake of admissions, Russell’s case was adjourned by Judge Michael Fanning for the preparation of a probation service pre-sentence report.
Bail was granted and Russell, of Woodland Close, Hackthorpe, near Penrith, is due to be sentenced at the crown court on 6th November.
One condition of the defendant’s bail prohibits him from contacting, communicating or approaching his ex-partner.
