Brougham Hall’s new café opened to the public on Thursday.
The Little Cafe at Brougham Hall serves freshly ground coffee, teas, cold drinks, ice cream, breakfast rolls, sandwiches, baked potatoes, cakes and tray bakes.
Initially, The Little Cafe will be open from 10am-4pm from Thursday-Sunday, with hopes to extend this to the rest of the week soon.
Running the café is Helen Fisher, who has had a dream of having her own little cafe for a long time now.
“Helen has a background of management in the charity sector and is excited to welcome you all over summer,” said a Brougham Hall spokesperson.
The cafe at Brougham Hall was previously run by Bake4Eden which now has new premises in Penrith town centre near St Andrew’s Church.
