A man accused of a robbery at Penrith’s Go Outdoors store is to stand trial in front of a jury later this year.
Liam Green, 28, faces one charge, which alleges that he robbed a store worker of jackets at the town’s Ullswater Road outlet on 11th April his year.
Green appeared in front of Judge at Carlisle Crown Court on Friday. During a short hearing, he pleaded not guilty to three allegation.
As a result, he is due to go on trial at the crown court in the week of October 31. It is estimated the hearing will last around two days.
In the meantime Green, of Leyland Road, Penwortham, Lancashire, was remanded in custody by Recorder Julian Shaw after an application for bail from his barrister was refused.
