A driver suffered life-threatening injuries after he was involved in a serious collision on the A66.
The collision happened on the A66 near Great Musgrave yesterday, March 5, at around 8am and involved two HGVs.
Both drivers were taken to hospital. One, a man in his 40s, suffered life threatening injuries. He is described as being in a stable but critical condition.
The other driver, a man in his 50s, suffered relatively minor injuries, police said.
The road was closed for several hours.
