Helen Skelton’s spooky song choice for Strictly’s Halloween week has been revealed.
This week, Helen and dance partner Gorka Marquez will be performing a Foxtrot to Lil’ Red Riding Hood by Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs.
The show’s Halloween week gives celebs a chance to dress up and get into the full spirit of spooky season. The couple’s song choices were revealed by the BBC late last night.
It also marks a second big show milestone for the duo, who are now almost at the halfway point in their Strictly journey.
Last week, Helen topped the Strictly leader board with her Charleston to the Blue Peter theme tune, which she said had a special place in her heart.
Post-dance, Helen took to Instagram to thank her fans for their support so far. She said: “Thank you doesn’t quite cut it! So grateful for your messages and support. Having a blast, learning loads and trying our hardest to put a smile on your faces. I hope you’re enjoying the journey as much as we are!”
Speaking with The Telegraph in an exclusive interview last week, the star said she was ‘owning’ balancing solo parenting with Strictly, following her public split with the father of her three children, Richie Myler.
The Countryfile presenter also confirmed she had moved back in with her parents Appleby. She told The Telegraph: “I can get up in my pyjamas, pull my boots on, pull my dad’s coat on, walk across the fields with the dog and what a joyous way to start the day.”
She added that her and her family are ‘really happy, and that’s all that really matters.’
This week, the duo have been quiet again on social media ahead of their dance, but Helen shared some snaps of her family home decorated and ready for Halloween.
