The Wannasee festival at Hutton-in-the-Forest, near Penrith, promises brilliant live music and entertainment for all ages.
It is set to take place from Friday, 26th August, to Sunday, 28th August, and on the Saturday the one and only “Barry from EastEnders” aka Shaun Williamson will be hosting special Barrioke sessions in between sets.
A spokesman said: “With the very finest tributes to the World’s greatest artists, from the 50s to the present day, we can guarantee you’ll be singing along to non-stop classics, all day. Like a jukebox of your life, it’s all killer and no filler!
“Wannasee Festival weekend is the perfect way to enjoy a live music stadium experience, non-stop hits, from start to finish, and fantastic live music at affordable prices. You can come as a day visitor or for the full weekend and camping facilities are available if you want to stay.”
Parking is free of charge and will be available at a secure manned area on the main site only a minute’s walk from the festival site. In addition, a free return shuttle bus will be available on both Saturday and Sunday.
It will be picking up outside the car park at Penrith Sainsbury’s, starting before the festival opens each day and running continuously back and forth between Penrith and the festival site, until after it closes each night.
The spokesman added: “With great views of the stage from all areas of the picturesque festival site and, with plenty of room for those who prefer to sit, rather than stand, you are welcome to bring in blankets and folding chairs if you choose.
“Picnic food and water or soft drinks in sealed plastic bottles for young children can be brought into the stadium.”
