Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team volunteers were called when a woman was struck with suspected heatstroke at Aira Force.
The team was called out by the ambulance service on Sunday.
The woman was assessed and taken to a waiting ambulance for transport to hospital.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team advised people out walking in warm weather to take plenty of fluids and sun cream and exercise appropriately.
