Around £10,000-worth of stock has been stolen from a Kirkby Stephen shop.
The break-in happened at around 3.35am this morning, Monday May 16, at the store on Market Street.
Thieves forced entry through the front door and it is reported that the suspects travelled from the direction of Brough in a grey Land Rover Evoque – registration number EX62WKC.
It had a space saver spare wheel fitted on the rear driver’s side. They left the area minutes later, heading towards Brough.
The driver is described as a man, around 5ft 9in and of a medium built. He was wearing face mask, black trousers, black jacket with grey sleeves and the hood up.
The front seat passenger is described as male, approximately 6ft with a stocky build. He was wearing dark coloured boots, blue jeans, a black jacket with the hood up and face mask.
The rear seat passenger is described as male, approximately 5ft 9in, of a slim build, wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood up and facemask.
