An Eden hotel has been handed a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The Pennine Hotel and Bistro, on Market Square in Kirkby Stephen was given the score after assessment on March 16, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
It means that of Eden’s 117 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 92 (79 per cent) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
Over the last few weeks, 21 establishments in Eden have been handed their food hygiene ratings by the Food Standards Agency.
