Plans to build a 67-home estate in Penrith have been revealed, almost a month after a previous proposal was refused.
Housing association Riverside and Atkinson Building Contractors Ltd have applied to Eden Council to develop the estate on land at White Ox Farm, Inglewood Road.
Their previous application for 76 affordable two- to four-bedroom homes on 2.18 hectares of land was recommended for approval.
However, the authority’s planning committee refused it last month because councillors said the site had poor amenity, connectivity and transport and mixture of tenure.
The revised scheme, which is still earmarked as affordable, would be a mix of rental and shared ownership.
In 2017, an application for the wider 3.95 hectare site for 51 homes was given the go-ahead.
People can comment on the scheme until the 26th September.
