A popular Lakes inn has been put up for sale with a guide price of £2.3 million.
Brackenrigg Inn and brewery in Watermillock has a direct view to the shores of Ullswater and boasts both an inn and a microbrewery that has the capacity to brew 200 barrels annually.
It has 15 en suite letting rooms, an 85 seat bar/restaurant, outdoor seating, a spacious car park and is set in about six acres of land.
The owners of the property are planning to retire from the business and have instructed Colliers to bring the inn to market.
Neil Thomson, associate director in the hotels agency at Colliers said: “Brackenrigg Inn is an incredibly busy and profitable business, located near to Pooley Bridge in the heart of the Lake District National Park.
“The current owners have invested heavily into this stunning property which has incredible views to lake Ullswater and the surrounding countryside and is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of the increasingly busy staycation market.
“Being both an inn and micro-brewery it is a unique opportunity for an investor, private operator or group to acquire this turnkey opportunity, offering 15 beautiful en-suite letting bedrooms, an 85 bar/restaurant and outdoor seating area.”
