A broken down vehicle on a main roundabout on the outskirts of Penrith is causing lengthy queues.
A heavy build-up of traffic has been reported on the A66 westbound, approaching the town, this afternoon.
It had been reported to police, at about 3pm that a vehicle had broken down on Kemplay roundabout itself, and was causing “some issues”, a Cumbria Constabulary spokesman said.
