The shop continues to make great progress.
Despite national supply shortages, all involved have been working very hard to keep shelves full.
The chillers are bursting with local produce including a daily supply of fresh sandwiches and rolls from our new local supplier KO Kitchen.
Last month we announced the appointment of a temporary Shop Administrator.
We are now delighted to announce that Karen Bouch has been enjoying her work at the shop so much she has accepted an enlarged role as Shop Manager.
Following much hard work from Management Committee members, especially Carol Lewthwaite and input from a local electrician and some renovation work supplied by Alan Tutin, the flat above the shop is now ready to be let. This will be via an Assured Shorthold Tenancy and handled via Eden Lettings agency.
Finally, we can confirm that share certificates have now been issued via email- all 627 of them, which proved to be a mammoth and far from simple undertaking (thanks to Howard Quinn for his assistance with this).
