Officers probing a crash in Langwathby that left a motorcyclist dead say that investigations into the collision are continuing.
Police were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A686 near Langwathby at about 10.30am on Saturday.
The collision involved a BMW motorcycle and a Dacia Sandero.
The motorcyclist, a 77-year-old man from the Preston area, died from his injuries.
The occupants of the Dacia were uninjured.
The road was closed for five hours while a forensic collision investigation was carried out.
A spokesman for Cumbria Constabulary confirmed that no arrests have been made.
