Penrith’s Wetherspoon pub is among seven in Cumbria that will open on Christmas Day, it has been revealed.
The pub chain said it was opening 664 of its venues on December 25 and the branches will be open for four hours from 11am to 3pm.
They will not be serving food and only drinks will be served.
The Wetherspoon pubs opening in Cumbria on Christmas Day are:
- The Furness Railway, Barrow
- Woodrow Wilson, Carlisle
- The Miles Thompson, Kendal
- The Chief Justice of the Common Pleas, Keswick
- The Dog Beck, Penrith
- The Bransty Arch, Whitehaven
- The Henry Bessemer, Workington
