Men arrested on suspicion of Flass burglary

Date: Monday 6th November 2017

POLICE say three men have been arrested in connection with incidents of burglary at Flass House, Maulds Meaburn.

Police are investigating a number of burglaries at the property, which are said to have taken place over number of months to October.

A police spokesman said on Saturday: "Flass House has been subjected to repeated attacks by so called Urban Explorers and those seeking to exploit the property for what remains from a former cannabis farm."

Three men, aged 26, 27 and 29 from the Penrith area, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and released under investigation.

Inquiries are ongoing and police reminded the public that Flass House is privately owned and those entering are trespassing.

Police will look to identify those responsible for entering, stealing and causing damage.

Witnesses or anyone with information can contact Cumbria police on the 101 number.
