Catching up with pals in Nepal

CHILDREN from Long Marton School were delighted to receive letters from their pen friends at a school in Nepal on their return after the Christmas holidays.

The letters, from children of a similar age at Shree Shwet Ganesh School near Dhulikhel (an hour outside the Kathmandu Valley), were the fourth in a series of communications set up after Long Marton teacher John Davis and his wife, Paula, spent a term as volunteers in schools in 2016.
