Car stolen from Penrith

POLICE say a car was stolen from outside a house in Penrith before the offender went on to steal from two fuel stations.

A black BMW 325 was taken from Oxford Close between 7pm on Thursday and 3am the following day.

The driver of the vehicle then took fuel from two service stations in the Carlisle area and made off without making payment.

Police are wanting to speak to a white man aged in his 20s who was wearing a grey hooded top and a black baseball cap.
