A PENRITH mother has spoken of her shock after discovering her home had been broken into while she and her young daughter slept.

Detectives are investigating a large number of incidents at Carleton Road, Rowan Court, Pategill Court, William Street and Musgrave Street in the town over a period of five days. Goods worth around £73,000 were stolen.
