Aiming to “give a voice” to Keswick residents
A NEW pressure group which aims to “give a voice” to the residents of Keswick was launched this week.
Keswick Together is the brainchild of Brian Price, who runs Price Walker Antiques in St. John’s Street, and its formation follows recent objections over changes to the annual religious Convention.
Representatives of local firms packed last month’s meeting of the town council to voice concerns over changes to the dates of next year’s event.
Mr. Price said the idea for Keswick Together came to him because businesses and residents of the town should join together and have a “single voice”. “We are all affected but residents tend to not get a say,” he said.
