Pro's arrival will mark new start to season
PENRITH Cricket Club chairman Andy Hall says the arrival of Sri Lankan professional Bhanuka Rajapaksa will mark a new start to Penrith’s Northern Premier League campaign.
The Tynefield Park men have lost their first three games this season and, with relegation introduced this year, are desperate to kick-start their campaign.
“Bhanuka’s had a very successful home season,” said Hall. “His last innings were 121 and 81, and he is late arriving because Sri Lanka wanted him to be available for their squads.
